Well I would get the Phenom X3 710 like boomer said that should do a lot better job then the 8650 plus whenever you get a after market cooler you can OC it and get probably get it past 3.0GHz. Also from what I understand the 710 has a unlockable 4Th core but I don't know how stable it is once unlocked. When I do video editing I make full blown music videos. Ringtones won't be a probelm.

ill show you video that i made. i think this new pc i make will handle cause my laptop can make videos just fine but the rendering is slowwww
my laptop dell d600 Intel Pentium M Proscessor 1400MHz 1.40 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM this is also me skating last year when i started lol |

Not to bad I never could learn to skateboard so I learned to play the guitar,bass guitar,drums,violin, and piano. I'm to fat to skateboard lol. I'm sure if your laptop can handle the videos you do then your new computer won't have a problem.

For GTA4 I would get something like a ATI 4850 or 4870 maybe a GTX 260/275. No I don't upload my videos to the internet so I have none to show.

I agree with Bomberboysk. The Phenom II 710 is a much better processor than the Phenom 8650 and worth the extra $20 cost.
