Default Buying RAM

Hi I had two of these Micron RAM chips in my computer (Packard Bell Imedia 4310):

One of them stopped working, and I need to buy a new one, but it's difficult finding a store with this ram in stock. Will it work if I buy a different RAM with the same specs? Or do they have to be of the exact same kind?

Thanks! So it doesn't have to be CL3 and 64x8?

As you can probably tell, I don't know a whole lot about ram

Get your motherboard model number, and go to it's site. There should be a link to tell you what brands of memory will work with it.

Well I found out it's a Quasar2 (MS6786) KM400A ver 2.0 motherboard. But it's not mentioned on the MSI site, probably too old..
