Question Help buying a laptop

So I really need help choosing a laptop because I don't know a whole hell of a lot about computers.

I'm a student in the art industry, and I need one that will be able to handle programs/hardware like Adobe PS2, or PS4 (depending on if I buy that or not), Corel Painter X, Sketch Book Pro, Wacom Tablet, AutoCad and your basics like Word, Exel, and Powerpoint. Probably something with a lot of memory/RAM, and good graphics would be best. I also don't want a computer, that after 2 or 3 years, is going to die.

In terms of price range... I'm trying to stay under $3,000.00.

I was originally interested in a Mac Book Pro, but I have never used one before, and I'm not exactly thrilled in having to buy all new programs for it. However, if it is the best choice for the art industry and what I need it for, I am willing to make the change. I also recently heard that Sagers are really good, although I don't know much about them.

Any advice and information is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
New? Dont forget to read the rules, Ignorance is not a defense.
