can i put any kinds of ram stick on my pc..... because i just bought a new pc and my old pc has 2 sticks of 500mb ram, can i take it and put it in my new pc......
do i have to install something after putting it ????

They have to be the right type (ie DDR, DDR2, etc) but if they are the right type then yes you can switch them from machine to machine.
