Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
New? Dont forget to read the rules. Heatware

I can't believe you bought that GPU you can get an ATI Radeon 4870 for $150 which is the same as a GTX 260. For $130 you can get a way better GPU. You can also get a ATI Radeon 4850 for $99 which is the same as a 9800GT.

The only thing I would change beside that is the HDD unless you need a 10K RPM HDD like that then go a head. If you don't need it for what you going to be doin then just get 2 500GB HDD and put them in Raid. For that price you can get 2 1TB HDD. I don't see a CPU.

The CPU is not important it's only the brain of the computer lol.

Good pick on the CPU at least you didn't choose the i7 950 like other people who thoughy if they choose something that cost $300 more they where getting twice the power but you barely get anything more.

If you want to save a dollar the Intel Core i7 920 is $278 here:

I have bought from ZipZoomFly before and consider them a good source to buy from as do others on this forum.
