Default $850

I know there are plenty of which "laptop threads" but I have browsed quite a few with little to no luck.

Looking for a laptop for $850 including tax. So if I order online some sites will charge me tax (I live in CA).

I dont really care what color, screen size, company etc.. just want the best for my money.

Also a warranty is semi - important.

I have looked around and found a few:

First of all don't buy an Acer they are one of the worst laptop manufacturers that I've seen I work in a computer repair shop and we get 2 or 3 broken Acer laptops a week that's just my opinion.

Here is what I would choose from

That's funny. The Toshiba has a bigger monitor (16" 1366 x 768),
but it has way smaller resolution than the Sony (15.5" 1600 x 900).

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.

Even when downclocked it has a decent gpu, but the GT120M is slightly better than it anyhow iirc.
