Post Upgrading my computer?

I've had my computer for about 1 and a half years now, and because i havent been spending my money, i've decided to upgrade. Here are my specs presently.

Intel Core2Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66GHz
Penryn1600SLI-110dB Motherboard
4.00 GB Ram
9600GT Geforce 512mb
1TB HD and 750GB HD
HX 520W PSU

Im looking towards upgrading my graphics card and processor primarily, as my motherboard and power supply are both capable of upgrade and my motherboard supports SLI, and my ram is quite high already. I am aiming to cap it at around $1000-1500 for both if possible. Thanks in advance guys

- Oh and I am also running 64-bit Vista

For 1500 you could build yourself an entirely new computer that would be significantly better than whatever you could upgrade that to.

You could build an i7 system for around $1200 actually.
Need help with gaming desktop parts

You could do an AMD Phenom II build for even less.

Please don't solicit sales in the support threads. If you have something for sale, you may advertise it in our for sale section after you reach 100 posts. Thanks.
