Kingston RAM is good but if you're going to be running Vista I would recommend buying two of those. Vista would run fine on 2GB of RAM but you would benefit from buying 4.

I can give you 2GB of RAM. I have 2 x 1GB sticks of DDR2 667MHz I pulled out of my daughters Dell XPS 400 when I did an upgrade. It has been sitting in my desk for like a year now

Do you want it?

***EDIT***

Next time just find your computer on the Compaq website and post a link...all that information is confusing. If we just get a make and model number we can find everything about it.

Not a problem...Do you have PayPal? If so then just send me 2 pounds (I don't have the cool little sign on my keyboard) ...that will cover shipping. I live in Germany. I shipped a CPU cooler to Aastii and it made it to the UK in 3 days.

Slower Fans=Cooler?

I can send them next week if you can wait that long...I am on vacation right now

I can't move these posts to the for sale section because Patriota doesn't have the 100 posts required to post there.

For future sales/trades please try to use the For Sale section, the post restrictions are there for a reason. Thanks.
