I'm helping my parents look for newer computer system & wondering if anyone has suggestions where to look. They don't have much to spend. A friend thought http://www.computergeeks.com was a good place to look & also some other sites like pricegrabber...new egg...tiger direct...etc. I looked at http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp...540N-R&cat=SYS & it seems good but they have some complaints on resellers rating.com so I don't want to get burned. Thanks for any help.

The system you've looked at isnt that great and in fact it's quite poor both from a "pro" perspective as well as a "average joe looking for value" perspective. About halfway down the page, have a look at Option 02, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/84660

A very affordable price and a hellalotta computer for it's price tag.
