Question which is a better bang for your buck?

I'm thinking about buying a new computer and was looking at these two, but am not sure which would give me the best bang for my buck. I do a lot of multitasking (video editing, importing, encoding, web surfing, uploading, etc.) and need a fast computer that can handle a heavy load. I love gaming, but have been way too busy lately to do any...but it's always nice to have the option. I can't think of anything else really so let me know what (if anything) I left out.

Computer 1

Computer 2

oh, and...it cool to have and all, but I probably wouldn't really use the blueray player much if at all.

honestly I think your spending too much money on both of them, I'm building my own gaming computer for around $500. The second is cheaper and seems about as good as the other one, buying it and a few upgrades is less than the red one. but, i'm no expert, thats just my opinion.

If you was to get one I would go with computer 2. It would be better to build your own do you have any knowledge installing computer components it really easy and will get you more for your money.

RAM: 6GB RAM would be enough for most application.
video card: GTX 275 is faster then 4870. Get 4890 if you want.
PSU: Get a branded PSU would be better than one with unknown brand
OS: Get 64bit instead!! Is ibuypower offer any upgrade with window 7?

changed to gtx 275 1792MB video card, 6GB ram, a Corsair CMPSU-850TX Power Supply, and vista 64 bit (not sure why this is better than 32 bit) which puts the new cost at $1659.
yes, they offer a windows 7 upgrade for $29.
