It could be a chance to recover the texts if you'll be able to recover the printer files. These are usually in the C:\windows\system32\spool\printers folder. For recovery you could use http://www.finalrecovery.com/
After you recovered these files, you could run them through a PCL2TXT program to extract the text (something like this one: http://www.swiftview.com/sview_analysis.htm).
