Question Help with sata cables!

I'm going to get a sata dvd burner. do they use the same standard cable that sata hdd's do?
This is my first build with sata so i'm a newb at it...

Make sure you buy SATA cables that are long enough to reach your DVD/CD drives....nothing worst than realizing a cable is not quiet long enough when you are trying to get your system going.
