how to make computer faster?

Your system specs look good, you may need to do some system maintenance, like defrag, delete temp files, uninstall programs you don't use, stop any programs from running at bootup. Or depending on how long you've had the system it may be time for a fresh install cause windows can become corrupted over time. Have you done and virus or malware scans lately?

To add to what John has said I think adding another 1 Gig memory stick would help especially if you have onboard graphics. Even if you have a dedicated graphics card I still think your RAM might hold you back.

Personally I use the following free programs to keep my computer in great shape:
1. Ccleaner
2. Advanced Systemcare Free
You can download them and run them at least once a week to help maintain your computer's speed.

avoid all the unused programs and stop not using exe process from task manager. and remove all the temporary file from ur computer.
