if you can get ahold of norton's corperate edition... that's pretty nice, i don't use a software firewall, everything gets stopped at the router (i hope) pgp is pretty good too, for encrypting stuff.

tip: don't buy them pop up blockers, just get spybot (newest version of course and update it) and you shouldn't have to deal with pop ups
