K so I just upgraded my comp myself, and have three problems so far, besides less money.

First i learned was that half the time when I try to browse, and add a picture or email one, the picture menu locks up, and just shows an hour glass forever. I have to use task mgr to terminate firefox, then start over (like I just did). This is a huge deal since its a new issue, and I write and edit my emails for a half hour, only to have to terminate, & start over!

Second is the media player 11 I have has no copy function? I had nero, that when loaded up was set as default. I deleted nero so now I have no way to copy a cd? Pic below shows the menu that pops up when I put the music cd in to try and copy. It shows nero as the only option but I cant click it cause i deleted it. lol. WTF?

Third. When I tried to burn music that was on my HD the system did everything but make the music on the blank cd. So when I went to play them they where still blank. Strange too since it took forever to get the music burned (like normal), yet nothing really burnt.

I have windows xp OS. Please Help.

Oh ya some back ground. I had to teach myself to build the computer since I have little money. It could be a bios thing since its still set to defaults, virus, or setting some other place? I know this is all a lot to ask but since I dont know maybe you guys do. I did my searching for over an hour so no flaming. Till just now the only computers I messed with where loaded with windows 3.1, & 3.11. I think im doing pretty good.

first off media player 11 can rip i dunno why yours cant.is this your first build?did you install all the motherboard drivers from the cd that came with it?check the device manager to make sure everything is installed.
