will this pc and that card work good for gaming lets say battlefield 2 on high settings

Yeah, you should be fine to play anything that's out there or going to be out there in the near future... One thing to check out, newegg also has a 6600 for $150 right now (after a mail-in rebate) which is equivalent, if not better than that 9800Pro...

yeah the 6600GT is better than the 9800 Pro i would get it instead

No. It will not run BF2 on high settings. My friend has an ATI Radeon 9600XT, and an AMD Athlon 64 3200+, along with a gig of ram and he can barely run it on medium settings.

lol, the bf2 demo runs so much faster...I can run it lag free on default setting with 512 ram and fx5500.
