hey guys , well dis is for my friend, he is plannin to upgrade his mobo on his socket 754 amd 64 2800+, and hes wondering which mobo is better

athlon 64 2800+ only come in skt 754 but since both motherboards you listed is skt 754 I guessing that skt 939 is a typing error and you ment skt 754.

Get the one with the nforce3 250 chipset(first one you listed).

agreed the nf3 will out pace the via chipset, but lets clear up the typo shall kalson. And is there any reason he is uping the mobo?

his mobo rite now is a ECS 755-A2 Socket 754 Motherboard
reason why he wants to up his mobo is basically his ECS has only 2 ram slots and it doesnt have nforce 3/4 on it =\
