Arrow Seagate FreeAgent Desktop (classic)

I've got a Seagate FreeAgent (classic) 500GB external HD and the readyboost feature on vista HP says that my HD does not have the required performance characteristics to speed up my computer. I was just wondering if there was any drivers or downloads I can install to make my HD compatible with the readyboost?

Thanks.
