Hello all,
I am in the "Computer" System Properties and I want to increase the size of my virtual memory manually. However, I'm not sure how much I should increase it by. I can give you some number to better inform you of my laptop's specs. Space Available: 241218MB Total Paging Size For All Drives: 4136MB What would you suggest I increase the number to? Any input helps and is very much appreciated... thanks. |

Are you getting warnings for low virtual memory? If not I would leave it alone, it's pretty big as it is.

There is an option that 'let windows manage virtual memory'. Check mark that.
I dont think virtual memory has any major effect on the speed of your computer. After all, virtual is nothing compared to real. If u have a decent RAM, just let windows maintain the paging size on its own, and forget about it.
