Laptop CPU And RAM Update.
Hi.
I've seen some post of this forum before I registered and for my age (I'm 16) I don't know much about computers, proccesors, compatibility at all YET. I wanted to update my laptop,which I bought 2 years ago. It has a T7100 proccesor, 2Gb Ram DDRII, nvidia 8600M GT, it has a Compal IFL90 mother board. I don't know if I can update to a P8400 proccesor, I think socket and everything is ok, but I'm not sure. Hope you can help me. Btw, i don't know if I can put in 4Gb memory DDRII @ 800mhz, cuz mine is 266 i think. I'm glad to be here, I hope i will be able to support new people like me in the future
