Ugh. Ok, I just unrolled from the fetal position and stopped crying. Here's the deal. I have an external HD, and I knocked it off the shelf the other day and it hit the floor pretty hard. Since, I'm not able to access it. I've tried connecting it on 2 different computers, and when I go to open Explorer to view the drives, it just freezes. When I try to access them in Media Player (it's pretty much all of my music on there), I have the same problem.
I tried downloading and running a PC Inspector program to find the drive, but that didn't work. Any thoughts? I'm guessing you folks will need more info, so let me know what I can provide. I have a pretty basic amount of computer knowledge, so if you can dumb down any solutions a bit, it would be greatly appreciated. TIA! |
