Default Need help building me new computer.

Hey my name is Blake I need some help building my new labtop . My main question is about the hard drive what is the difference between Raid 0 Performance and single drive? I really want to build gaming labtop so what would be better 320GB - 2x 160GB 7,200RPM - RAID 0 or 320GB or maybe 500 gb 7,200RPM w/ Free Fall Protection?

Ok here rest spec's on the labtop going to be buying. Will this labtop be able to handle games like battlefield 2 with no problem or lagging ?

Alienware m17x

Basically raid 0 creates stripe sets , using 2 or more hard drives. I think it is supposed to be faster than a single disk. Since the stripe set spans both hard drives if one HD fails you lose your data. There may be software to recover like "raid reconstructor"
