My girlfriend has the same laptop and I tried getting XP installed but couldn't find a couple drivers for it. I had all major drivers installed and working correctly(sound, video, lan, chipset I did find the lan driver for it though. Do you still have vista installed? If so, write down specifics and just search online for it.

Ok, I just booted up my girlfriends laptop and both the wireless and the lan drivers are from Realtek. Go to their website and find the drivers for them.

This is what they are in Vista, don't have XP installed anymore on it.

Lan is RTL8168/8111b Family PCI-E family ethernet nic (get from Realtek)
wireless is RTL8187B wireless 802.11g 54mbps (get from Realtek)
Sound is sigmatel high definition audio (Google it)
Video is Mobil intel 965 express chipset family (get from Intel)

The one thing I do remember though, was that I was able to use some of the vista drivers in XP and they worked, so try that as well. I wished I still had the extra drive that XP installed on it from that laptop, I could tell exactly what I couldn't get installed and I couldn't find anything online about it.
