Default Unknown problem

Recently I downgraded my new notebook from Vista to XP.The memory that sucked Vista was too much.Everything gone well except I had problems while installing my conexant high definition smartaudio 221 audio card. But after few attempts I did it.

Now the problem is when the notebook is being overloaded the sound of the music I play is weird. You know it sounds like some places are being skipped or rewinded (I think you understand me what the hell I am talking about hehe). Now I can't realise if the problems comes from the audio card or the processor (logically if the sound changes when the notebook is overload the problem might be caused by the processor). With your help maybe I can discover where the problem comes from.

EDIT: I am not sure if this post belongs here.Feel free to put it where it belongs. Thanks
