Laptop fails to boot up
Okay, so... I have an Acer Aspire 9814WKMI laptop, which has Windows Vista as OS... Today, I tried to boot it up, and it would boot up fine and show the Acer screen with the loading bar... But when it's supposed to show it's loading Vista or whatever, the screen goes black and nothing happens. I can turn it off and boot it up again, same thing happens again.
I'm currently searching my repair CD's, but it may be annoying because it originally had Windows XP on it, but the laptop was "Windows Vista Premium Ready", which meant we got a special DVD from Acer to upgrade it from XP to Vista... and as far as i know that DVD is useless for repairing anything. Any tips/help on how to fix my laptop? Thanks. |
