Default Having major problems trying to update my sound card

I've been trying to update my sound card for the past few days by using driver updates program like drivermax or driver detective but i don't seem to be able to update it though. Anyway my computer is self-assembled and i really don't know how to update it. Cuz i cant play games like assassin's creed and prototype because of the sound card problem.
My sound card is Soundmax Intergrated Digital HD Audio version 5.10.1.6110.
Manufacturer : Analog Devices

Anyone help me please!

You get the latest sound driver from the motherboard manufacturer. What motherboard do you have?

You said this was a self built computer, correct? Then you must know what motherboard you used. We need the maker and model of motherboard.

Go here and input your motherboard to get the latest audio driver.

http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us

Select motherboard, then socket 775 and then select p5b and click search and then when the page loads click what OS you are running and you will then find the drivers for that board.
