Default Application to maintain font in copy/paste?

Before my last computer crash, I had a great little application that allowed the user to copy text from one source and then paste into another program while maintaining the same font that's being used in that program. I recall that instead of using CTRL+V to paste, I used the Windows key+V which pasted the text using the same font in current use.

For example, I could copy text from a website that was using a fancy, large font and paste it into Wordpad in the same font that I was using in Wordpad.

Does anyone recall the name and source of that application? As I recall, it was free.
