Default Can't format New Hard Drive

I just got my new WD Caviar Blue 320GB. I just finished installing it along with my new 4GB's of OCZ Balde. When I try to format the drive I get this message.

Quote:
The operation cannot be completed because the disk is not initialized
I have never came across this problem before. Does anybody know what I need to do. I went into the bios and everything checked out ok. The bios recognizes both of the hard drives.

Any help would be great.

Edit: I got it I'm so stupid I forgot to right click and Initialize it before I tried to format my bad I feel like an Idiot.

At least yours is good. I just bought from newegg 2 500gb western digital black drives for a raid 0 and one is bad, so I can't do anything until I get the replacement.
