Hi
I'm in the process of building my first custom PC. I think I got a problem with my case (ANTEC Nine Hundred Two) having too many fans and my Motherboard (ASUS P5QC) doesn't have enough connectors for it. Here are the links for the specs of the Case and Motherboard. Case: http://www.cipc.com/produits/9200/ Motherboard: http://www.sohodiffusion.com/prod/96...E-X16-DDR.html If anyone could check for me if there's enough connectors for the fans that come with my case (not including the 2 optional ones) It'll be great if you can tell me what I should look for on the motherboard spec that tells me if I got enough connectors for the fans. |

I am curious did you mean the 4 fans that came with the Antec 900 case?
If so they come WITH the case then they are molex types not 3pins and then connect to each other. So you can plug all 4 into 1 molex if you wanted too. So unless you plan to add more to your case you shouldn't have to worry. *edit* I only count 2 on the board using neweggs image close up. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowIm...%20Motherboard its normal number even my board only has 2. Mind you I am not counting the CPU fan one.

No, it's sort of like a daisy chain. Each of those molex connectors coming FROM the fans are double tipped (one tip is a socket, the other is a plug), and all those plugs can be hooked up in such a fashion that it can be hooked up to one molex connector coming from the PSU.
