I'm not sure if this works or not:
IMAP incoming server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
Username is yahoo id without @yahoo.com
Otherwise just use Gmail or Live

Yes, call your mobile phone Internet provider support line, and ask the how to set up your email on your phone
Good luck and let us know how you go

I din't think I have made things clear.I set up my mobile for email o.k, but afterwards noticed that my email account has changed from a POP3 to IMAP4, with the result that windows mail couldn't handle it.Now the programme won't even open, so I can't even try to change settings- even if I knew how!
Thanks for your interest,
Richard

Start > Search and type regedit.
Then go to this registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail

and right click it and choose Export to back it up.

Then make sure Windows Mail is closed and right click on the key again and choose Delete. (Note you could just delete the subfolder called "Junk Mail", this may work too)

Then try starting Windows mail again.

Well Done! Why didn't I think of that? Because I don't know anything about computers, I suppose.
A million thanks,
Richard

Do you happen to have Norton Antivirus installed?
Because this is usually the reason of Windows Mail corruption (I think it may be the spam mail folder or something)
Anyway, done
