dvd drive won't install windows from dvd image
second hand laptop (old presario 2190US)
windows install dvd laptop hangs and gives error about can't read from source install dvd works fine on other pcs tried to install from within windows, drive takes ages to load image then freezes altogether it is a DVD rom drive (checked again  if i am not mistaken, factory was just CDRW, MOBO dvd rom drivers perhaps??? copied disc contents to hard drive and install from image inside windows. *now i have two windows installs* (separate issue  i can watch PAL and NTSC dvds in drive with no problems i have more RAM than install DVD requires I have more HD space than required
