Hello all!
I recently installed a dedicated firewall. Every thing seems to be going fine. except the fact that the firewall is detecting incoming attacks coming from my own external IP. >.< (Or incoming attacks coming from itself) I am not the only destination. It's also detecting attacks coming from my IP going to verisign, and 20 other IPs, but Verisign seems to be highest priority. Six days after I installed the firewall, the attacks dropped by more than 70% on an average day, but stayed at this rate. I'd like it to be 0%! I used to receive tons of attacks from my DNS server, but I changed servers and that stopped it shortly. Any one got any ideas why I'd receive attacks coming from my own external IP? Any tips or info is greatly appreciated
