If you are looking for good RAM that will overclock well and has a cooler...this Corsair set is about the best you can get for under $150. They have nice timings also.

Do you need a RAM cooler...no...you don't. Your RAM will run just fine without it. It may get a little warm but they are made for some heat

Really that RAM is kinda an overkill. You can get a nice G. Skill set for under $100 these days. I would get this set...not quite as good of timings but they will be fine. And they match your motherboard color scheme

The G Skill will work on a AMD board. They just show its Compatible with the P55. Just make sure if your using a after market CPU cooler there is enough room to clear the taller ram.

Oh, then I'll check into those then. I'm still leaning toward http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231277 but I really don't know what the difference is between that and the one you linked....http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231278

I mean they both pretty much have the same specs, almost.

I can't wait to test out my new corsair stuff (see recently purchased items thread) I'll let you know how it goes, and how well they overclock... the heatsinks should help
