Default trouble with AD HOC networking

I have 2 computers and both have wireless g cards but i dont have a router. But 1 computer has a wired connection and ive been trying for a while now to get an AD HOC network to share internet. but when i get the network done i cant find the option to turn on internet sharing like all the instructions i have found said to. Any help for this or alternatives would be nice. [btw a router is not an option becuase im on a $0 budget right now ]
