Default New setup, need help installing OS.

So I just finished building a computer for the first time and everything went great. Now I am just trying to install an OS on it, my MOBO is an Asus P6T SE but I cannot figure out how to install the OS from scratch, I have windows 7 64bit on a CD but I do not know how to get it to boot the CD. Any help would be great.

Do you still have your original Windows disc?
If so test to see if that boots or not

If it does boot, then your Windows 7 disc is faulty, or just not a boot disc

If it is the same (no CD boot) Then you may need to check System Setup (called CMOS or Bios Setup) if your CD/DVD is the first bootable device.
To get to System Setup screen; usually there is a key to press when fist starting your computer up, like DEL or F2 or another key. The key to press should be displayed on your Monitor, when your computer first turns on

Insert the DVD, then restart the system. It will prompt you to hit any key to install from DVD. It should then bring up the Windows installation screen.
