My PC hasn't been used in a while due to it having a pirated version of windows xp and refusing to accept the service packs. I bought a new OS for it. I tried to go on it to back up my files but when the monitor is turned on, it will light up for about 3 seconds before turning off. I thought it was a fault with the monitor, so plugged the input into my laptop and it worked fine. I have opened the case to clean the motherboard and graphics card which was removed. Is there a way to reset the computer so it will register the moniter? The only socket is on the graphics card. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks (i dont mind completely reformating the computer) 127.0.0.1 is where your heart is |
