I have a feeling Microsoft will have Internet Explorer around for quite some time.

Eventually Microsoft is going to wise up and either rename IE and give it an update that will actually make a difference. I hope so at least.

Internet Explorer 8 is world respected and the most used browser on Windows installed systems

Yes MS will likely ditch it anyway one day, and stick to Windows and Office
But this is likely because the future OS everything will be online, including all programs, just like online games work

I feel like, in the computer world, everyone has to hate IE. I find it funny how everyone disses it as if it's one of the worst things ever when it's not *THAT* bad. Or at least, not as bad as it used to be. Although I do admit I have been using Firefox for quite some time. :p
