Default waited 2 weeks for my 4850... too long?

So i've been waiting for my 4850 to arrive for 2 weeks now. The seller on ebay told me that they sent it on tuesday, 2 days after i paid (20th september). I bought my XMS2 the same day and recieved it on tuesday. I waited a week and contacted the seller. They said it should have arrived by now and to wait a bit more. I have. Still not here.

This is the ebay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWNX:IT

The seller doesn't have much feedback but they have a 100% score.
I think if it isn't here by friday i'm going to open a paypal dispute (i paid with paypal thank god) and get my money back.

Have I been had or is it Australia Posts' fault? I've had some items from overseas on ebay arrive faster than this.

His feedback count of 7 is worrying.

Have you asked him for a tracking number? Do you know how the item was posted? i.e Priority shipping, Standard etc...

I'd advise you to immediatly contact him for a tracking number or some sort of proof of postage, if he doesn't reply keep sending him emails. If he does not reply or will not give you any proof of postage / tracking number then open a Paypal dispute to claim back your money.

If he does issue you a tracking number you can call the courier and inquire as to why the delivery is taking a very long time but at least know where it is and that that it's still on it's way.

I guess i bought stuff before i sold stuff anyway.

Ok, got in contact with the seller. He's going back to the post office to see if they returned the parcel he sent. If it isn't there it looks like Australia Post has "misplaced" my card.

i had a similar problem when i won a 9800 gtx+ for like 94 bucks, the dude said he was selling it on behalf of someone else and that he was sure that they have sent it.

They ended up "not having it in the first place" which pissed me off, but either way MAKE SURE you open up a case before the time expires IF you didnt get your card or money which i think is like 30 days, ALSO , you may have to open a case just to recieve your money back if you dont get your card.

If he tries to put it off then i know he hasn't sent the card at all. If it isn't here by friday then a dispute will be opened. I told the seller that. If i get my money back i can get a brand new card for cheaper. (and it's a sapphire one too! )

Stuff like this is why I canceled my ebay and paypal accounts... Among other things, I rarely had a pleasant experience using either service.

I say go on with the paypal dispute. They take a while and can easily be stopped if the seller decides to refund you or actually send the card

I have around 150 transactions on eBay, buying and selling, and I've never been burnt, and I have 100% feedback score.

I also use Paypal for many things online, and they will refund your money if you get hosed through eBay, so I've heard.

Most of my eBay purchases were Nitro R/C stuff, and I don't think I'd ever feel comfortable buying computer parts from eBay.

Newegg, however, makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

It really could be either the seller or the post office, did you purchase insurance? I didn't see it in the auction details but sometimes they say that if you do not purchase insurance and the item is lost/damaged in the mail, then it's your fault and they will not do anything.

Hope it works out for you!

DId you pay with paypal?

If so - you should be fine - let the seller know that you will be opening a Dispute. You have 45 days to file a dispute for any purchase

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...cy_pbp-outside

I've only had one dispute - and received a full refund from Paypal for my purchase price.
