Default Server Question

Hi..New here so i ask where would i ask those who know ins and outs on Raid Servers?Am looking to put one together and just want opinions.

Its a rather vague query, what do you actually want to know about a server in RAID?

Question

Right...i didn't want to post in the wrong area.So here tis my Q. then:

I have built several desktops,yet attempting to put together a Raid server.Have always liked the MSI boards.In your opinions,what board do you recomend.also,the system will have to be for IDE Drives since i have so many i am trying to put to use.i would like to hookup as many as possible.that is my MAIN concern.i have a dozen of these dam 120 Gig WD's i need to use them up!Hope to here your opinions...whatever that may be.
