Hello!
I just discovered a suspicious temp file in my windows/temp directory. I have no idea how long I've had it or what it belongs to as its updates its date at start up. When I check the properties for the file, nothing is indicated as to its source or what process its connected to. The file renames itself at each reboot i.e :JETC013.tmp, JETE2EE.tmp, etc. I "caught this file creating other files with just numbers "26337252" in the temp folder then they disappear. When I attempt to delete it, I get a message stating that file is open in another program? I did this from command prompt as well. By all accounts this feels like a virus or malware. Ran Norton, ccleaner no problems found. Thanks in advance! |
