Default 8800GT SLI no longer working

Hey guys, so today I put in 3 new fans in my case. Once everything was said and done connected everything back up, and then I see that the nvidia control panel isn't reading my 2nd 8800GT. I tried reseating it, changing around the bridge, and reconnecting the 6-pin power cable. I wouldn't have thought this would be an issue because I didn't remove anything to put the fans in.

Thoughts?

check the card by putting it in the first slot and without the other card.

Well, that makes things a bit clearer. Something I should have tried in the first place.

I put in the first slot. It powers up, but no image is displayed.

How about not enough power?

The additional fans may have put the system over the power supplies capacity.

Have you tried removing the fans and trying again?

that sounds plausible but he removed the other card... wouldn't that have removed some power usage?

Looks like I have a dead card. I just bought it a few months ago from a member here. Well, now to decide to wait for the GT300 or get a GTX 275.
