Default Marvell IDE controller problem

Hi!

I've just bought an ASUS P5QC mobo, with 320 GB SATA2 Samsung hard disk, my XP is on it, boots without any problem, everything works fine, except one thing: everytime I boot the system it states on the screen the following:

Marvell 88SE6111 Adapter-BIOS Version 1.1.0. L70d
Initializing...

Adapter1
Disk Information:
No hard disk is detected!

Why is that?

In BIOS I can see something like:

Marvell IDE [Enabled/Disabled]

and if Enabled the following:
Marvell IDE Boot ROM [Enabled/Disabled] - WHAT IS THIS FOR??????

Soon I will have to add an IDE hard disk, so I think I will need these, but maybe NOT the second one?
Please help!
