Default Mouses - USB or PS/2?

Does it matter?

I have USB mouse, but it doesn't work as well as I would assume. Might be just about the mouse of course.

At least one computer expert dude told me once internet connection is much less reliable on USB.

That's laughable.

Anyway, it makes no difference, although PS/2 mice are analog and USB is digital.

USB mice are much more responsive.

It actually depends. I prefer to connect through an ethernet adapter any day.

Oh, my bad. I misread that.

I thought it said the mouse was unreliable with USB, not internet.

USB may be able to handle more data at once, thus allowing for higher dpi/resolution mice, but that's really it. Under most circumstances, there really shouldn't be any difference.
