Broadband accelerators/boosters??is it really true and worthy???help needed pls

Hi Guys,
those websites or programs that they claim to accelerate and increment your downloads by splitting files into sections and then downloading them simultaneously, etc,, are they genuingly true??are they really effective??
there are some who claim to be even free of charge like download Manager, but what would you suggest????

i wouldn't use them. Most come with other bundled software which could be malware in itself. If you want faster download speed then talk to your internet provider about upgrading to a faster speed if they have it.
