Default Triple monitor question.

Currently I have dual monitors, and freaking love it. Been wanting to do triple monitors, but I'd have to buy a new , video card (to get the two additional monitor slots), motherboard (to support the second video card), and the monitor itself.

So instead of doing all that, I remembered I have an onboard video card on my motherboard. Problem is it's some low level GeForce IIRC where as my current video card is an HD 4870. Is it even possible to activate the onboard video card to run the third monitor? Or does having the 4870 over ride the onboard card?

I don't think it's possible (think I even read that some where a long time ago), but I figured I may as well ask.

Alternatively:

I have the ASUS M2NPV-VM, which is this card:

Currently I have the 4870 in the x16 slot. Let's say I buy a cheap video card that will work in the x1 slot (or even one of the PCI slots). Would the two work together so that I could run three monitors? Would the second card interfere with the primary card when I want to play games?

The third, new monitor (and thus new video card) would be solely for running movies, word documents, or other related activities. Not anything intensive like gaming, in other words. Would the two cards play nice with one another?
