Sound card wont work :mad:

hi i just got a soundblaster live 5.1 model number sb0220 and i installed what i believe is the driver version 3.0.0.9 and i see it in sound cards and speakers in my device manager but ever since i installed the card i have a yellow ? in other devices (multimedia audio controller)
and when i try to change it over in the control panel i disabled my onboard sound but now it says there is no devices i can use for sound playback. i think theres a mixer for this soundcard but im not sure and i dont know if it would make a difference. any ideas what this problem could be? thx in advance

ok i restarted my pc and now it doesnt show that any driver is installed so i downloaded another one and removed the old one but now when installing the driver it says no soundblaster card is found on my pc and closes

That is an OEM card not an actual creative soundblaster card. All you can do is either go to windows update and see if it has drivers for it or do a google search for the sb0220 and find a driver that works. I found some on driverguide.com but you have to sign up for a free account.
