Wink can this ram run on my mobo?

g'day everyone i am new (today!)

i am wondering if this ram i just bought form ebay is compatable with my motherboard. (specs in sig).

at the moment i am running 1gig ram @ 200MHz and the ram i brought runs @ 333MHz..

if it works how can i get the 1gig i brought down to 200MHz?

the ram will downclock to 200mhz automaticly

so i put new ram in with the old ram and it will go to 200MHz automaticly?

yeh, it will downclock to the slowest speed that being 200mhz

i have mixed 800mhz with 1066mhz and they all ran at the slower speed 800mhz

but if he combine the 2 GB of RAM at different frequencyes and the computer will "take" the smaller frequency that means it wont have the same performance like 2 GB of RAM at the same frequence?for example i have a 1GB one at 400 Hz and a 256 one at 266 HZ...should I use them both?

No.

Not for a measly extra 256Mb. Your computer may actually seem slower if you use the 256Mb.
