Default Build From Scratch

EDIT: Alright i'd say the price range is anything from £0-£400. I can go over but i don't really want to tbh lol

Hi everyone. I'm looking for links to hardware in order to build my own computer. I'm not a very techy person so please bare with me .
Poster can post all the hardware i'm looking for or just one i don't mind.
Please if you agree with a previous poster please say so i can tell which ones will suit me more

In general i'm looking for a small, fast, cheap as possible and quiet as possible computer. I don't want to pay for stuff i'm not going to use so please give hardware exact to my specifications.
This is where i'm going to put it. My bed is on one side and my door the other

Computer Case - Will need to keep the components cool and needs to be fairly small,
CPU - I want a fast start up and shut down time, fast at opening and loading applications, movies, music etc. I run AVG and comodo which both run scans every now and then, i also back up to an external hard drive every now and then. I will be running to operating systems Vista as my main and XP Pro only so i can install and play C&C: The First Decade
Motherboard - Uhhh... no clue. I know it holds/connects everything together .
Sound Card - As you can see in the image i already have speakers so i don't know whether that makes a difference + i do love my music.
Graphics Card - I download a lot of movies, i only sometimes play crappy online flash games but i don't buy proper pc games.
Hard Drive - Hmm i'd say about 300GB+ will do.
RAM - I usually have at least three programs open at once + i run Vista which is a memory muncher so 3GB+ will do i guess?.
Fans - Obviously it won't be very well ventilated under there so i need however many to keep everything cool. They need to be quiet because my parents sleep the other side of that wall and they go to bed early
DVD/CD Drive - I want a descent one to burn and rip both DVDs and CDs

I don't really have a budget for this per say, but obviously i want it as cheap as possible and i don't want to pay for something i'm not going to use

Thank you all soo much just for reading let alone helping

swood

p.s. If you can please post links to the cheapest UK site you can find them.
p.p.s. If theres something else i'll need on the list please post
