Cold Canuck

Hello.

In the past I've always built AMD systems, but as a result of recent advances by Intel, I've decided that it's time to switch and I find myself in uncertain territory.

After some browsing, I've come up with the following shopping list and I'd appreciate any suggestions as to any screw ups I may be in the process of making, or even some additions you might recommend.

BTW...this system will be attached to a 24" Viewsonic monitor.

A recommendation for some RAM would be appreciated, especially if you take into account that I'm going to be running XP, NOT VISTA

My main focus is FPS gaming as well as some web design and watching DVDs.

Someone mentioned getting the COOLER MASTER HAF 922 case in another thread, but that is a mid size case, and I'd like to have more room than a mid size allows.

I already own the two 640GB drives, as well as the eSATA storage setup.

I also already own one of the PNY GeForce XLR8 GTX 260 cards, so I'm sort of stuck getting a second one for SLI.

Got any suggestions?
