Default New Modem

Well, my family's modem is dying. I'm kinda glad cause it's a piece of crap... Anyway, I need a replacement. We have a verizon DSL connection and it has to have wireless built in. My dad is cheap. So, any suggestions?

I looked at newegg and I could only find 3

If you're talking about the Verizon-supplied DSL modem (usually Westell-branded), I'd get on the phone and talk to Verizon Online customer service. When I got DSL from them, they said it was Verizon company property, so they provide support and replacement.

If you're talking about a dying wireless router that your family bought (Linksys, D-Link, Belkin, etc) then I recommend an older Linksys WRT54G-series, if you can still find one.

It's the modem. Not router.

Anyway, I'll check to see if it is considered their property.
